Nyansa named 2017 “Cool Vendor” in mobile and wireless analytics by Gartner

Gartner’s highly regarded “Cool Vendor” report recognizes innovative companies for opportunities to ideate new services, improve user productivity and optimize cost

Nyansa, Inc. (“knee-ans-sah”), a fast-growing innovator of a new generation of network analytics software technology, today announced that today that it has been recognized as a “Cool Vendor” in the mobile and wireless analytics space by Gartner, the world’s leading IT research firm.

According to the new report, mobile device usage has become “business as usual” in most organizations. Consequently, Infrastructure and operations leaders responsible for mobile and endpoint strategies should examine innovative companies for opportunities to ideate new services, improve productivity and optimize cost.

Having only launched its popular Voyance enterprise network analytics service in April of 2016, Nyansa was named a cool vendor by Gartner because “its product can determine application adoption trends, traffic usage, and individual and systemic client root cause incident identification in a corporate network,” according to the new report.

“When looking at the historic trends, organizations can get insight into the overall quality of experience by user, site or location. Nyansa measures and analyzes application use and health of SaaS, custom, video and unified communications (UC) applications on a per-user basis,” the report noted.

Since its introduction, Nyansa’s Voyance network analytics service now analyzes more than one million wired and wireless clients every day and has processed more than 194 petabytes of data from over 69,000 wireless access points.

At Cisco Live! In June, Nyansa will be showcasing new technology advancements in user performance management and enterprise network analytics. For more information or to arrange a private demonstration, visit: http://www.nyansa.com/cisco-live/.

Purpose-built for quantifying the user experience within increasingly mobile enterprise network environments. Voyance is the only analytics system that analyzes every wired and wireless client network transaction in real time and over time. With Voyance, organizations can now proactively predict client problems, optimize their network and justify infrastructure changes based on actual user, network and application data.
