Data Sources

The most extensive breadth and depth of data sources analyzed from client to cloud

Voyance is an AIOps platform that extends far beyond traditional infrastructure monitoring. The platform collects an unmatched set of data sources and provides end-to-end visibility of how network clients are behaving. The AI-powered analytics engine analyzes every user and IoT device transaction across the entire network, correlating data from disparate sources.

Data sources include network packet information (e.g. SPAN/Tap, RADIUS, DNS/DHCP) and SNMP. Wired and Wi-Fi client data is fully captured. Data collection extends to the WAN (NetFlow) and, when required, client agents are available for a more precise view. Critical applications can be monitored when running in Citrix virtual environments via the certified Voyance-Citrix ICA integration and with select direct integrations. Applications include Unified Communications (UC) solutions such as Cisco UCM and Microsoft Skype for Business. The platform can receive syslog data and XML files such as asset configuration data.

Data Sources

Wi-Fi Metrics

Rich and timely wireless metrics, data analysis and actionable insights from today's leading wireless infrastructure solutions including: Cisco, HPE Aruba, Aruba Instant and Extreme WiNG5 WLAN products.

Application Data

Real-time media and application data layer client experience like Call Quality, MOS scores, Jitter/Delay/Loss, etc. from UC servers like SKPE for Business and Cisco UCM

Extracts server perspective performance information about network services (e.g. RADIUS reason codes, etc.) via receiving syslog from those servers

Vertical App Integrations

Nyansa partners and integrates with some of the leading application and end point providers in healthcare, manufacturing, retail, etc. to collect vertical-specific application data that further measures user experience for those applications.

Flow Data

Flow data from Routers via the NetFlow protocol, in order to identify application traffic and tie the traffic to WAN attributes including Interface, service provider and QoS marking

Packet Data

Live packet data is analyzed to understand protocol interactions for network services (DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, etc.) and identify and extract SaaS and custom application performance metrics

Server and network element data is extracted via SNMP polling servers and network elements for statistics including CPU and memory utilization.

Client Data

Detailed client data and other network and application data from the Voyance software client agent running on MAC OSX and Windows devices provide a precise view of device behavior on the Wi-Fi network.
